For most of photography’s roughly 200-year history, altering a photo convincingly required either a darkroom, some Photoshop expertise, or, at minimum, a steady hand with scissors and glue. On Tuesday, OpenAI released a tool that reduces the process to typing a sentence.
The algorithm is rolling out a few weeks after Google LLC introduced a new image generator of its own. Nano Banana Pro, as the model is called, is better than its predecessors at rendering text and implementing instructions from follow-up prompts. GPT Image 1.5 likewise introduces improvements in those areas along with several other optimizations.
RasterFlow is a satellite image preparation and inference solution that will make it easier to gain insights from that type of data.
Molmo 2 comes in three main variants: Molmo 2 (4B), Molmo2 (8B), and Molmo 2-O (7B), which uses Ai2's fully open Olmo backbone for the complete end-to-end model flow. Versions tuned specifically for pointing and tracking are also available.
