I have Direct TV Satellite with a HR54-700 Genie and a 4k Sony Bravia that is DirecTV Ready. My understanding is that to get 4k I need a 4k Client and thats what DTV is trying to sell me in a Genie Mini or a Gemini.

Direct TV Stream Login - DIRECTV Community Forums
Direct TV Stream Login I am unable to login to Direct TV Stream. Happened all of a sudden today. Have had the service for about 3 weeks. I get a care code of 201 saying login or password is incorrect. I’ve changed it multiple times to no avail. My login is different from my AT&T account logins…but it was all set up by an AT&T service agent.

I do not see the advantage of having Direct TV sending me a third unit since I am sure I will have the same problem. Is there any work being done to fix this?
